Registration opens for United Nations Regional Course in International Law for Asia-Pacific 2019
Registration is now open for the United Nations Regional Course in International Law for Asia-Pacific, which will take place from 18 November to 13 December 2019 at the facilities of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Regional Course is intended to provide young lawyers from developing countries and emerging economies with the opportunity to receive international law training from leading scholars and practitioners on a broad range of core topics of international law.
It is convened under the auspices of the United Nations Programme of Assistance in the Teaching, Study, Dissemination and Wider Appreciation of International Law, and organized by the Codification Division of the United Nations Office of Legal Affairs, in cooperation with the Government of Thailand and ESCAP.
To be considered for the Regional Course, candidates should have a legal background with professional experience in the field of international law. This Regional Course is open to candidates from the Asia-Pacific region. Registration closes on 17 June 2019.
